Classroom vs. Online Training

How can I train to become a CRA?

There are four methods of acquiring the knowledge and skills to become a CRA

  1. Our Online program
  2. Live classroom programs--University based, Independent Provider, Association provider
  3. Written, textbook programs
  4. Combinations of the above

WHY ONLINE (DISTANCE) LEARNING

CONVENIENCE - take it from the comfort of your home, no travel.

ECONOMICAL - there is one fee only -- no airfare, hotel or meals.

FLEXIBILITY - participate at any time of the day or night.

TIME EFFICIENT - no travel, log on at any time from any internet connection.

EASY TO USE- no downloads, no plug-ins, no software to learn.

Individualized - learn at your own pace, train only in the subject area you require.

The content of some CRA training programs will cover FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH Guidelines, HIPAA and give numerous checklists and tips on how to meet the responsibilities of the job.  The major differences between types of programs will be the length, depth and breadth of the material and content, monitoring skill development and the instructor/access to the instructor.  A two day classroom program has about 12  hours of content discussion, our course has approximately 50-55 hours of content.

All classroom programs require time away from job and family, whether it is three hours a night for twelve weeks, six Saturdays for eight hours, or two, three or ten days of classroom time.  There is also the additional expense of hotel, airfare, meals and other travel related costs, not to mention vacation time used to attend a live training program.
